Wesley Dodd's Sandman

 Wesley Dodd's Sandman is an actual peak comic book. Just straight noir crime fighting with a guy who has the coolest fit ever. This dude uses sleep gas on people to incapacitate people, because he is a pacifist. The gas also makes you relive every horrible thing you've done and make you feel the emotions of the other person. The conflict comes when his research for developing the gas gets stolen. Every failed attempt is a different deadly gas that can be used to kill millions of people in the war. (World War 2).I want to read more of this character cause this was awesome. If more of his stories are this good, he might become my favorite hero of all time and I'm not even being hyperbolic.

 I just wish Neil Gaimen didn't incorporate him into his version of Sandman.
