Dot Hack// Infection && Dot Hack// Liminality Ep 1

 I played this with a group of friends and it was a very good time. I'm still very interested in the premise. Gardenia is a wonderful character. My favorite character, even. BlackRose is fine. Kite doesn’t have much going on, and Orca dies in the first dungeon. So, I don’t have much of an impression.

 The gameplay is very fun, but there is also an issue with the pacing. You can make very solid progress through the game and then you’re stopped in your tracks. Then you have to grind forever to even progress through an uninteresting boss. By the end, I just gave up and gave my characters infinite health. I wish there was a rebalance mod, because what is there is wonderful and deserves to shine.

 Liminality is a tie-in OVA packaged with each game. It was alright, but there is a creepy ass character that gives me really bad vibes.

 I will not be reading the Manga series. The contents are not good. I will have to dispose of the manga I bought to read.
