Where do I begin with this? I just did not like the artists as much this time around. We had 2 different pencillers, Robbi Rodriguez for issue #7-#8 and Neil Googe for #9-#12.
Rodriguez's art was fine. Don't mind it, really. It's just a little sad to follow up the first issues with a new style. I'm always a little sad when this happens. I get used to a certain style, or I even like it a lot. Then, the whole art team changes. The covers are still done by Jorge Corona and they are top-notch.
Mr. Googe's art was either pretty good or lackluster, depending on the issue and the colorist. The zoo parts of issue #11 really brought me out of it, and it made it hard to follow the plot (Also I'm sure Gotham Academy is a decent book, but the crossover did nothing for this story)
The conclusion to the Seer stuff was a little mid. Turns out everyone forgot she existed after her father died, and she was just hacking away at the Iceberg Lounge. The subplot about the killer was finally resolved after 12 issues, and it really wasn't anything special(I forgot to even bring it up during my volume 1 though, oops.) Also, the riddler was there sending clues for a crime spree he wasn't even a part of. It's okay, but I am hoping the last volume pulls it back in with a new plot. Something to do with Steph's dad and the mad hatter.
I wish I had more to say, but this was mid-range comic stuff.
